Is the trapeze "great legendary maneuver" in Episode 26 from Kaleido Star physically possible in real life?

The characters are lifted several hundred feet in the air, swing on the trapeze to the extent that when they let go, their trajectory is straigh up towards each other... they meet in mid air by clasping one hand, spin in that position while freefalling, then use each other%26#039;s force to push back and catch the trapeze at the lowest point and return to the stand. Is this physically possible to do in real life? Any ideas?
